Harmless taunting between friends has been suggested to positively influence motivation levels for physical activity. While not scientifically proven, the idea behind Steps is to integrate a fitness aspect into an engaging, vivid design. This app offers a platform for users to compete in step challenges using data from the Apple Health app.

What?

• Compete against friends using step data sourced from the Apple Health app.
• – Initiate or join a game effortlessly with no registration needed; simply use a link to join or send it to friends.
• – Games run from Monday 12AM to Sunday 5PM in local time. The app showcases the cumulative steps of participants until that point in the week.

Get Taunting

• Two ways to taunt others:
• 1. Set a customized player name, opt for a whimsical randomly generated alias, or frequently change it to keep friends on their toes.
  2. Share the leaderboard with friends. Participants receive personalized, randomly generated messages based on their leaderboard position.
